The raw material of the stainless steel chain plate is 304, which is a universal stainless steel, which is widely used to make equipment and parts that require outstanding induction functions (corrosion resistance and formability). 304L is a variant of 304 stainless steel with a lower content, which is used where welding is required. The lower carbon content minimizes the carbides separated in the heat-affected zone near the weld, and the separation of carbides may cause intergranular corrosion (welding erosion) of stainless steel in certain environments. The various raw materials of stainless steel chain plates 316 and 317 stainless steel contain aluminum, so the resistance to pitting corrosion in the marine and chemical industrial environments is much better than that of 304 stainless steel. Among them, the 316 stainless steel variants include low-carbon stainless steel 316L, nitrogen-containing high-strength stainless steel 316N, and easy-to-cut stainless steel 316F with a higher amount of sulfur. Various raw materials of carbon steel chain plate 904L (00Cr20Ni25Mo4.5Cu) are low-carbon, high-nickel, molybdenum austenitic stainless and acid-resistant steel. Has good activation-passivation transformation ability, excellent corrosion resistance, good corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, and phosphoric acid, and good corrosion resistance in neutral chloride-containing media The pitting corrosion resistance, together with outstanding resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion resistance. It is suitable for sulfuric acid of various concentrations below 70°C, and has good corrosion resistance in acetic acid at any concentration and at any temperature, and the mixed acid of formic acid and acetic acid under normal pressure.
